Help
Mail clients.
Use an app password. Do not give Apple Mail, Thunderbird, or Outlook your primary ZanonMail password.
Before you start
Create an app password in Settings → Mail applications. The password is shown once. The web client stays on JMAP. External clients use IMAP and SMTP with implicit TLS. POP3 is not offered. These clients are not signed in through ZanonMail as a third-party OAuth provider — use the app password.
A third-party client can download and store mail on that device. ZanonMail cannot control how that application keeps copies.
